Acceptable use policy

This policy applies to everyone who uses Omniviewlab, and to everything done through an account. It forms part of our terms of service. It exists so that what is not allowed is written down rather than decided case by case.

Break the law with it. Do not use Omniviewlab to commit or facilitate an offence, to launder money, to evade tax, or to keep records you know to be false.

Harm the service or other tenants. Do not attempt to access another business's data, probe or bypass our access controls, or deliberately overload the service. Security research is welcome, but tell us first at [email protected] and stay out of other people's data.

Resell or copy it. Do not resell, sublicense or white-label the service without a written agreement with us, and do not copy, decompile or attempt to extract its source.

Misuse other people's data. Do not put personal data into Omniviewlab that you have no lawful basis to hold, and do not use it to send unsolicited bulk messages.

Upload harmful content. Do not upload malware, or material that is unlawful where you or we are established.

You may use our API with your own credentials, within the rate limits published with it. Sharing credentials outside your business, or using them to build a competing service, is not permitted.

Where we can, we contact you first and give you a chance to put it right. Where the breach is serious, ongoing, or puts other businesses at risk, we may suspend the account immediately and tell you afterwards.

We say what the breach was. An account terminated for breach is not refunded — see the refunds and cancellation policy — and your data remains available for export for 30 days unless the law requires otherwise.
